Oil and natural gas pipelines, as well as energy transmission lines, extend for hundreds of kilometers through remote, mountainous and hard-to-control terrain. These linear infrastructures are strategic targets vulnerable to sabotage, theft attempts (hot-tapping), and unauthorized interventions. Pipeline Security Solutions bring together wide-area intelligence, mobile tracking capabilities and communication infrastructures independent of commercial networks, providing a hybrid approach to ensure the security of these long-distance corridors. 

In challenging terrain, detecting threats solely from the ground is not always possible. CNA-Aerial (Aerial Platforms) solutions, integrated into UAVs and other airborne assets, scan kilometers of pipeline corridors from above.

With its 2/6-channel architecture, the system actively collects the identities (IMSI/IMEI) of all mobile devices in rural and mountainous regions. Suspicious vehicles approaching the pipeline, smuggling groups operating in the area, or individuals preparing for sabotage are detected long before they reach the line.

This real-time aerial tracking enables ground security teams (Tactical Intervention Units) to be directed precisely to the target. Instead of reactive security, it provides proactive intelligence that prevents threats before they occur.

DF-Vehicle (Tactical Vehicle Type) systems, developed for patrol units securing the pipeline, provide RF dominance during ground operations. Using high-gain antenna arrays and advanced AoA (Angle of Arrival) algorithms, the platform determines the direction of surrounding radio or mobile signals even while the vehicle is moving (on-the-move).

Unauthorized individuals digging, waiting, or communicating near the pipeline are geographically positioned with high accuracy using triangulation.

In rugged terrain where vehicles cannot enter, DF-Handheld (Portable/Handheld) systems take over. Foot patrols conduct the “last kilometer” scan along the line and can pinpoint the exact location of a threat with meter-level accuracy.

Along most pipeline routes, commercial GSM coverage is either nonexistent or severely limited. This makes coordination and emergency response extremely difficult for security teams.

Tactical Base Station (TBS) solutions establish a private and secure communication network in these regions through the Network-in-a-Box concept. Vehicle-mounted or backpack-carried units provide voice, high-speed data and real-time video transmission to operational teams.

With LTE BTS (4G) modules, real-time imagery from cameras, patrol vehicles and drones along the pipeline can be transmitted seamlessly to the command center. This ensures that security is not only handled by local units but is fully integrated into a centralized command-and-control structure—creating a security umbrella completely independent of commercial infrastructure.
