Disrupting Illegal Communication & Managing Fully Isolated Zones

One of the biggest challenges in correctional facility security is preventing inmates from establishing unauthorized communication with the outside world. Leaders of organized crime groups or members of extremist networks may attempt to coordinate activities, issue orders, or plan escapes using illicit mobile phones smuggled inside.

Prison Security Solutions provide an integrated system designed to eliminate this "shadow communication," establish isolated secure zones, and prevent aerial smuggling attempts.

Controlled RF Environment & Unauthorized Device Blocking

In specific blocks—or across the entire correctional facility—it is crucial to prevent the use of unauthorized mobile devices.
CNA-Stationary systems are deployed at strategic points inside the prison campus to perform continuous RF scanning.

These dual-channel and stackable systems detect and identify (IMSI/IMEI) any mobile device that enters or operates within the monitored zone. Once detected, illicit devices are actively blocked through Denial-of-Service (DoS) techniques.

This prevents hidden phones in inmate cells from connecting to the network, making calls, sending messages, or accessing the internet.
With this capability, prison administrators can eliminate illegal communication at its source, including coordinated criminal activity or data leakage from inside the facility.

Full RF Isolation (RF Isolation)

In maximum-security prisons (Type F, Type S, etc.), certain zones may require complete disconnection from the outside world.

Fixed Facility-Type Jammer systems provide tailored RF Isolation solutions for correctional facilities.

The objective is to block all wireless communication within designated No-Phone Zone areas—covering 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G mobile networks, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth signals.

This wideband suppression not only prevents voice calls but also disables messaging, social media access, internet usage, and all forms of data transfer.

As a result, inmates’ connections to external criminal networks are severed both physically and electronically.

Airspace Security & Drone Threat Mitigation

Another critical component of modern correctional security is airspace protection.
In recent years, drones have increasingly been used to drop contraband items—such as drugs, weapons, or mobile phones—into prison yards.

Portable and Fixed Jammer solutions counter these threats by targeting the command-and-control (C2) frequencies of mini-UAVs and drones, neutralizing them through soft-kill techniques.

By severing the drone’s link with its operator, contraband delivery attempts are prevented.

This integrated architecture transforms the correctional facility into a fully shielded zone—protected from threats originating both on the ground and in the air.
